Our Beginning

The story of our dried fruit began with an unexpected disaster.

In September 2004, a powerful typhoon swept through our vineyard, leaving thousands of perfectly ripe Kyoho grapes scattered on the ground overnight.

It felt devastating—an entire year of care and effort gone in a single storm. But instead of giving up, we chose to honor that harvest. We carefully washed each grape, one by one, and gently dried them to preserve their rich, full flavor.

What started as a way to save the fruit became the very first version of what is now KYOHO RAISIN.

Since then, we’ve remained committed to this philosophy: every piece of fruit carries the work of nature and the dedication of farmers. By turning them into dried fruit at their peak, we ensure that none of that effort—or flavor—is ever lost.
